So, today was a huge car show at Carlisle Pa (http://www.carsatcarlisle.com).
Usually the Fiero's are at the Import and kit car show, but this year the club decided to go to the GM Nationals. They are a GM car after all. I wanted to see Deloreans and those cute cars that look like they are smiling. T_T
Anyway, I got about 2 hours sleep. I had to be up at 5:30. We left at 6. Yeah, 5:30 am! *dies* The only way I got through the day was mango flavored energy drink. Yummy. Somehow it wound up leaking in my purse though... I got my cell phone, my camera, and my fathers GPS kind of wet. Everything smelt good though.

At least the weather was nice. We have been having crappy rainy weather for what seems like months. Today was one of the nicest days we've had in ages. So it was nice to get out for a bit.

The Fiero club did some trophies, but this year Carlisle was doing the voting. So we don't know if we won anything. They are announcing the winners tomorrow at 9. The father is still debating if he wants to go back down there. It's like an hour and a half drive. He doesn't think he'll win. But if he does win and he's there they are going to apparently let people drive the winning cars through the grandstand.
If he isn't there and he wins they are going to announce it on their site and they are going to call because he's going to have to pay $10 to get his trophy sent to him. Which is also lame... Lol

Also, I heard 2 people call the Fiero's Ferrari's. Dudes, Ferrari's are not made by GM. Fiero's don't really look like Ferrari's... I guess they are both sports cars that start with "F" so that must totally be a Ferrari!

Man, I've been taking tons of pictures and little stories with Alex and Sullivan, but I never post them here. I'm so lazy...

And I seriously haven't touched my Pullip/Taeyangs in ages. Well, I had them out for an Easter story (nearly a month after Easter... Lame). I never posted it though. I really have to get back into taking pictures of them.
I don't have any ideas. I need a nice photo space. Maybe if my room wasn't such a disaster... I really have to work on that.

Sullivan still hasn't said a word to poor Alex. Which I guess is okay. Alex doesn't need anyone to talk to. He's content talking to himself.
And Alex does bad when people cry. He's usually the one crying so he has no idea how to react.
His fatherly instincts are coming out though. Before he turned into a vampire he had quiet a few younger siblings. It's been awhile since he's been around younger people. He just has to get back into the swing of things.

He is hoping Sullivan will say something soon though...

Also, Si's have the cutest noses ever!

So, there is this artist named Mijn Schatje. She apparently makes money off of stealing peoples pictures of bjd's and tracing them.

A couple people on Den of Demons discovered her. Lots of people were able to match her "drawings" to company and doll owners photos. They contacted the doll companies involved and a couple have responded saying they didn't give her permission.
People have also contacted art galleries that she is involved with.

It sickens me that this person would make money by stealing other peoples art...

Okay, so, here is a short pointless story I wrote involving Alex.
I was going to write a series of short stories for Nanowrimo last year. And well... I got 2 and a half stories done. I did this one about Alex and his sometimes vampire lover and creator, Malachi.
And I wrote a story about a ball-jointed doll. I won't even post that one because it's waaay crappier than this one.

But anyway. This is about what happens when a slightly stupid vampire reads Twilight and finds out the hard way that not all vampires sparkle in the sun.

I hope everyone enjoys it.

I got my new doll eyes in on Monday.


These are going to be for my DOC Si. They are so pretty!


These are supposed to be Alex's, but I don't think I like them. They were gray on the companies picture, but they are yellowish. They are really yellow with flash.

Speaking of my DOC Si... I'm off to order clothes for him! Yeah, I haven't ordered him yet, but I'm getting clothes. Lol
And Alex might be getting a few things. ^_^

Man, it's been forever since I've updated this thing. I haven't been playing around with dolls that much. I've taken a bunch of pictures, but honestly they aren't that good. And I haven't even touched my poor Taeyangs in months. X_X I have to get them out for pictures one of these days.

I got my Puki Cupid on January 8th and I painted his little wing boots.


After much debate I named him Castor. I don't know why, but I did. He is Alex's guardian angel. Only Alex can see him, but Alex doesn't quite understand that. So he thinks he's going insane.

I kind of regret getting a Puki. If I didn't buy him on impulse I would of been able to order the doll I really wanted ages ago. Puki's kind of scare me. I'm afraid of losing a little tiny hand. His one hands magnet is really weak and it will just pop off if you gently touch it.
I was thinking about getting more Puki's sometime in the future, but they are just too tiny for me.
I don't have any plans for getting rid of Castor. I could sell him and get some of the money back I've paid for him, but he is really cute and he can do a bunch of fun poses.

But yeah, I'm saving up for a DOC Si with goth make up. For awhile I was debating on going for a H.Ivan, then it was H.Krill, and even just about every other DOC boy for my character. Lol I was even debating getting a girl.
I wound up at a Joann's Fabrics and most of the fabric I found would of been cute on a girl doll. So I've decided that I want a DOC Mir. You don't see many of that mold around. She's so cute. But I was thinking about getting her before I got Si because she is a little cheaper than all the boys on the site, but I'm sticking with Si. I have a character all planed out for him and I have had it all planned out since I ordered Alex.
I'm hoping to have the money to order him by the end of the month or sometime in April. DOD seems like they are so backed up with orders so I'm not in too big of a hurry to order him.

I joined a group order for glass eyes on DOA. I have a gray pair coming for Alex and a pair for my Si. Hopefully they will be here soon. At first I liked the eyes I have for Alex, but they are just too dark. He needs lighter eyes.

Anyway, here are some pictures I took the other day. They aren't the best because the sun wasn't cooperating. Pennsylvania has a lack of sun in the winter and it makes taking doll pictures hard...

Oh, yeah. I painted Alex's nails. I did a craptastic job. And I need to find gloss to make them look shiny. I dunno where to get that though... Some people said they put nail polish on their dolls, but some people said it wasn't the best idea so I got some MSC and some of that Volks acrylic paint and did the Puki Boots and Alex's nails.

I might be back tomorrow with more pictures of I get the time. I have a bunch that I could put up. ^_^

Hopefully with spring coming I'll be able to get some good pictures, but I doubt it because I'm not the best at taking pictures. X_X

I'm such a horrible doll owner. I haven't posted pictures in ages. X_X I've been lazy and well, busy at the same time...

My one guinea pig died the beginning of November. Squeaky was only 8 months old. It sucked. She got sick and I didn't get her to the vet in time. I felt like crap.

Anyway, I actually found Ken clothes at K-mart and bought like 3 different sets. Yay!

And I'm getting better at the whole sewing thing. Alex has a new shirt and pants. I'm really happy with the pants. I have to fix the collar on his shirt.


And I gave him a necklace. It used to be my favorite one until it broke. At least Alex can use it now.


And I just like this shot. Too bad the stupid blue hamster car is in the shot. X_X

I have a little pic fic, but I'm debating if I'm going to post it. I didn't really get any shots while I was at work. We had people in the dining room the whole time I was working. X_X
I was amused when the owners mother came in and she held Alex. She kept asking questions about him. And I told her his name, but instead of Alex she heard Alice. Rofl. She kept calling him Alice and I wasn't going to correct her. Let her think the doll is a she. It's easier than explaining that you just have a feminine looking doll. Although as she was holding him his pants were falling off. I was afraid she would see his little pen0r. How would you explain to a 70 year old woman about your girlie looking doll and her penis. X_X

Oh, and since I was feeling down about Squeaky dying. I went and ordered myself another doll. I had my eye on a Puki Cupid so to cheer myself up I ordered him. He's my Christmas gift to myself. I have an idea for his character, but I have no name yet. Also, I was hoping Cupid would show up before Christmas, but I doubt that will happen. I counted and 40 days lands me on like Christmas Eve. So I'm not expecting my Cupid until the new year. Oh well...

I don't think I should trust Alex with a knife... I tried to tell him it would be easier to carve the pumpkin if he didn't sit in it. Also, he has his new eyes in. Whoo!

I also took Alex to work with me on Monday. I wish my camera battery wasn't dead. It was kind of funny. I had him at the bar trying to get a shot and a beer. The bartender thought he was underage. I need to make him a little doll ID so he can drink. He was also helping my co-worker work on the crossword puzzle. No one in the bar really said anything odd to me about him just standing there on the bar stool. The one guy at the bar made me bring Alex over to him so he could look at him. I'm kind of surprised that no one made any comments, but then again I guess they all know I'm odd. ^_^

I wouldn't normally post something like this here to my doll journal, but I think this is important.

Remember the pet food thing where lots of pets got sick and died from tainted pet food. And the tainted baby formula from China? This guy noticed that the same tainted milk stuff from the tainted pet food and baby formula can be found in a ton of candy that has been made in China and sold in America. This candy was made around the time of the baby formula thing and it is still being sold in the States.

Maybe the candy isn't contaminated, but is there really any proof that it is safe to eat? Would you want to eat/give this candy to someone not knowing if it can potentially kill them?

Okay, so I took these pictures over a week ago, but then I got sick and un-motivated to post them. And then I was going to edit them after work one night, but people suck and I got out late like every night this week except for Friday. And after that I was farting around with the Gaia Halloween event. X_X I suck...

Oh, and I had to deal with a bleeding guinea pig. His toe nail must of got caught on something because it was bleeding and the poor guy was whimpering. Then he hurt it again last night while he was running around. Today the nail fell off so hopefully he's not in anymore pain. I felt so bad for him. Poor little guy...

I got my order from Dollmore yesterday. I got a pair of eyes, 2 shirts and a pair of pants. The pants of course are too short. Damn you DOD and your odd sized dolls... They are cute though.

The eyes are totally Alex and I love them. I got a pair of pink eyes free from dollmore. No idea what I'm going to do with them. My mom said I should put them in Alex because he's an albino. I think I should buy a doll to go with the eyes. ^_^

I also almost had my mom convinced that she should get me a doll for Christmas. I recently discovered how cute Puki's are. I want him:

I've been really lazy lately and haven't taken like any pictures. X_X

I got some today! It was the first time I took a doll outside. Well, the second time. My BJD went to work with me for like 10 minutes the one day. Today we went to the Monastery.

I don't plan on doing that again. Alex got two marks on his face that took a lot of scrubbing to get off. He kept banging his head off of things. Stupid Alex... Luckily they missed his face-up. I also almost stepped on a snake and was being attacked by bugs!



I stuck him in a backpack to keep him safe. Alex was not amused.

Things have been hectic around here and I won't bore anyone with the details.

My BJD arrived today. He shipped out after only 5 weeks of waiting. My mom isn't happy about me spending a ton of money on him and all day she's been saying how ugly he is...

In Alex's free time he likes to head butt innocent people, slap himself, and stare off into space.
Yeah, he kept doubling over when I was holding him. My dad watched him almost whack me right in my forehead with his head. And his arms like to bend on their own so it looks like he's hitting himself. And it's really hard to get him to stand without shoes on...

Man, why did I take that many freaking pictures. There are 156 pictures of Gettysburg alone. And I cut a bunch out. And I didn't even upload the videos I took.

I'm going to start with Lancaster Pa first. Ah... I don't know what the appeal of Lancaster is. Lots of people flock there. OMG! People still use horse and buggys and don't use electricty?!? We have got to go there and annoy the amish people!

It sad how busy that town is. There used to be a ton of farm land. Amish farm land and now they are building houses on that land. We only saw one horse and buggy... Kind of sad.

Also apparently people will buy anything if you put the word Amish on it... Retards...

Now I shall move on to the million Gettysburg pictures. They are currently working on renovating the whole battlefield. They opened a new visitors center/museum and they cut down a shit ton of trees and planted new ones in different places. I guess to make the battlefield look more like it did during the war? I've been meaning to post since like last week. Sorry there haven't been any pictures and stuff in awhile. Last week was vacation. I still have to go through and post all the pictures and videos I took...

Brant has been giving me the evil eye. He wanted to go to Gettysburg with us last Friday. Mom wouldn't let him come along. She told me if I brought a doll she'd throw it out the car window. T_T


It's been 3 weeks since I've ordered Lahoo. 5 more weeks to go. Hopefully... I hope he gets sent out on time. I don't know if I could stand to wait longer than that. I ordered him a nice pair of boots from Mimiwoo. I was going to order slippers to go with his monkey pajama pants, but I don't want to spend to much money. Maybe another time.


And I've been having doubts about getting my Lahoo. I think it's nothing, but I'm just wondering if maybe I should of gotten a different doll. What if I don't like Lahoo when he gets here. I bought all these clothes and things for him... Hell, I'm even thinking maybe I should of started out with an MSD. I think once he gets here though I'll be in love with him. I've wanted him for so many years.

I'm going to try my hand a sewing. A wonderful person posted an easy to follow tutorial to make jeans and t-shirts. So making a shirt is going to be my weekend project. I need good scissors though. The ones we have at home hardly cut paper.

I'm planning on using old t-shirts and stuff first. Well, that's all I have to work with. Our craft store closed down and an Old Navy replaced it. X_X My mom has needles and thread and stuff and she said she would give me a hand with sewing.

I suck at sewing. And we don't have a sewing machine. So I have to do everything by hand. I tried to fix a hole in my hoodie and like 20 minutes after I sewed up the hole the tread fell out. I still have a hole in my hoodie and my mom laughed at me. X_X And don't even get me started on sewing machines... I haven't used one since I was in like middle school, but it was evil! And my pillow came out all crooked. But that wasn't the sewing machines fault. I can't do straight lines. Even with a ruler. X_X

I'm going to stop babbling now. And maybe I'll get pictures from my trip up by the end of the weekend.

I come bearing great news though. I am getting a BJD. Yes, that is right. A BJD. A DOT Lahoo to be exact.

I have been drooling over him since I first saw him in a community for Final Fantasy VII. It was love at first sight. It took me a long time to convince my mom to let me get him. I had to make a deal with her that I really don't wish to discuss here... I made a deal no more dolls for awhile too. Although now I'm broke and I still have to buy Jade...

But OMG! BJD. I've wanted one for so long and now he's within my grasp. Lahoo is ordered and now I just have to wait 8 weeks to get him. T__T That is such a long time.

I really have to find some SD sized clothing patterns so I can trying my hand a sewing some clothes for him.

I found someone selling a mystery thing of clothes. It's a shirt and pants, but she doesn't even know what they look like. It's a surprise. And I'm getting him (a very expensive) outfit from DOD, but I would love to make him a cute hoodie or something.

I suck at searching for things...

I'm excited and nervous about getting him. He's going to be huge and I'm terrified of breaking him. But I can't wait. This 8 week wait is going to kill me...

Alex: Hello, and welcome to Alex's book club. Todays book is Scar Night by Alan Campbell. Did you know he was a programmer for the GTA games? It's true. Anyway, I totally recommend this book. You can't go wrong with a book that has a blue cover. And there is an angel flying around. Angels kick ass! So get this book!
Brant: Do you even know what the book is about?
Alex: Ah... This book is about an angel. Ah. Named Alex! And Angel Alex flies to the blue moon to get some blue cheese and to defeat the evil blue moon monsters who are threatening to take the worlds supply of blue cheese.
Brant: You make my head hurt...
Alex: Fine! I didn't read the book! I have no idea what it's about. But I think that would make a good story...
