DOD shipped my A&D yesterday. I think it was yesterday... Uh... *goes and checks her e-mail* Yeah, yesterday. I have a cold and my brain is all fuzzy. I also got my cold yesterday. It is a day for me getting things I guess.

The tracking number isn't working yet. Hopefully by tomorrow. Or maybe the number is wrong. I dunno. If it isn't working by this time tomorrow I guess I'll ask DOD.

But yeah... He shipped after only 10 weeks. Twice as long as it says he would ship on the site.
Once I order Brant his body I am done with DOD. Well, I'm done with buying dolls in general.

I ordered Brant green eyes the other day and I got Alex rabid bunny sneakers. I just hope the sneakers fit. I also got some rement. Although of course I went to order and the ones I really wanted were sold out. They were in stock before I went to work and by the time I came home they were sold out. It was just because I was lazy and didn't feel like going to get my wallet. T_T
I also, apparently ordered another Pinky St. I totally don't remember putting her in the shopping cart. I looked at her and I said, "Nah. I better not. The Pinky St.'s are just sitting in a box. But yeah. I guess I did order her. Lol
I also ordered a few board game keychains. I'm sure they will be in scale for one of the dolls. And I got bacon band aids. Yeah, I don't know. Lol. Seemed like a good idea at the time. And was supposed to get a free item from stupid.com, but I somehow wound up getting charged for it. No one responded to my e-mail yesterday. I paid through pay pal and if they don't get back to me soon I'll file a claim against them. It's only $7, but still. That was bull...

I am seriously really not happy with Dream of Doll right now. Once I order Brant a body I think I am done dealing with them.

Today is officially 10 weeks since I have ordered my A&D ver.2. Which I don't really mind the wait. I don't like the being lied to.

3 weeks ago they said he was shipping out next week. A week ago they said 2-3 days.

I would be willing to wait 20 weeks for this doll if they just said, "Sorry, it is going to be awhile yet before we ship him." Instead of our right lying to me.

Maybe Dream of Doll shouldn't do events when they can't handle the orders they get. They really shouldn't do events when they were already not meeting the estimated shipping time on their site.

Honestly, at this point. I don't even give a damn about the doll. Just get him here so I don't have to be disappointed every morning when I wake up and find no shipping notice even though they have told me twice now he would be shipping out.

My mother and hell, even my boss are telling me at this point I should just ask for my money back. X_X Which, yeah, that is making things more stressful.

I ordered the doll in September, because I wanted something to cheer me up after my grandmother passed away. And yeah... That worked out real well, didn't it?

I have sent another e-mail to DOD and hopefully they realize I am not freaking happy with them!

I'm going to try and get more pictures up sometime in the next couple of days. I was going to do it last night, but I was kind of busy. We are having Thanksgiving at our house this year so things need to be cleaned up and stuff is going to be getting cooked soon. But my mom has a really bad cold now. So ugh...

I promise my next post won't be a big pile of rant.

Originally it was have people comment with a character they wanted to answer the questions, but meh. I don't get many comments so I figured I would do it for all the BJD's. Eventually I'll do it with the Taeyangs too.

07. Odd Skills/Skills in general: Alex is a good singer. Although, he rarely sings anymore. He also has this amazing skill where he can confuse you. Either he does something really strange or he just babbles until you are so confused you forget why you are fighting with him.
08. Last Amusing Escapade: Alex hasn't done anything that would be considered an escapade recently. There was this one time where he got drunk and wound up walking down the side of the road pantsless. Luckily Malachi found him. They never did find his pants. Alex doesn't recall going out drinking, how he lost his pants, or why he was wandering down the side of the road.

I got Brant on a body today! Whee! It was kind of easy. Although I almost killed myself... I lost my grip on the S hook and my hand with the pliers went fling and the S hook hit the doll neck with a horrible "crack". T_T Everything is okay, but I was startled.

Brant is like, my new favorite doll. Gah! I can't wait to get him a body of his own.

His wig was not cooperating so his hair is all over the place. T_T I tried to fix it a million times...

Anyway... The USPS sent my dream head to the wrong city. It was in town and for some reason it wound up in a city 45 minutes away.
He came on Tuesday and he is beautiful.

DOD also said they will be shipping my A&D in 2-3 days.
But they have been making a ton of mistakes. One person got the wrong doll! Another person got the wrong body. T_T I feel bad for them.
I just hope nothing goes wrong with my A&D. I have been waiting 9 weeks 2 days (not that I'm counting).

Anyway, I'm going to post my Dreaming head pictures now. Tomorrow (or later today since it is Saturday already) I'm going to do Puki pictures, and then I'll do the Taeyang pictures I have.
I want to get all caught up with my picture posts. I need to get the pictures off my camera. Lol

The packet is the wig I bought, the free wig, some elastic and S hooks. DOD sent me the wrong S hooks... I ordered the hooks for hands and feet and I got head hooks. Waaaay to big. They were only a couple of bucks so I'm not going to say anything to them. I'll have to find the hooks somewhere else.

I'm so glad I decided to get him! He is so beautiful. I love his lips.

Also, his name is Brant. He is a vampire and Malachi's (my A&D's) son. Brant is about 900 years old and Irish.
He is pretty much the opposite of Alex. Brant is quiet and loves to read. He also loves classic cars and has a collection of them. When he isn't reading he is either working on his cars or driving his cars.

As soon as I'm done buying Christmas presents I am ordering him a body. Which who knows when that will be. Probably Christmas Eve Lol. I don't know what to get anyone.

I'm going to attempt to put his head on Alex's body this weekend just to get a photo shoot in. Then I'll be putting Alex back on his body.

I hope the weather cooperates. The pictures from the box opening were taken when it was cloudy out...
Sullivan's pictures came out good and it was nice and sunny in the living room.

Ugh... I need to go to bed.

Still waiting for my dreaming head... USPS sucks. It never takes more than 4 days to get something from DOD, but my tracking was, "Arrived at destination airport" for 2 days and finally last night it changed to something about the office of inward exchange.
So I got up early today and nothing...
The Korean site says I have a guaranteed delivery date of tomorrow so if my stuff doesn't show up tomorrow I'm going to flip out.

I also can't find poster tak anywhere. I have nothing to put the eyes in the doll...

Anyway... Last week Dream of Doll said they would be shipping out my A&D. I got a shipping notice yesterday and I was all yay! But then I saw it was for the dreaming head instead. X_X I asked about my A&D and they said he would be shipping soon. It has been 8 week since I placed my order. It has only been 4 weeks since I placed my dreaming head order. I guess maybe they had the dreaming heads made up already and I just had to wait for a face up.
And hopefully he comes with a face up. I always get paranoid when something ships waaay sooner than I expect it to.
So I should have my dreaming head tomorrow or Saturday.
I have to go out and buy some poster tac stuff so I can put eyes in. I don't even have the right eyes yet. X_X I'm glad I have a ton of spares. I don't know what color eyes to even get him. I was thinking blue...

And yeah, hopefully one of these days I will get caught up on pictures. For now I will leave you with a few pictures.

I have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow and sitting around waiting for the lazy mail lady is going to cut into all the stuff I have to do. So Saturday would be good.

So yeah... Know how I said that I would get no more dolls after my A&D? Ugh... I'm going to be getting one of the Dream of doll event heads.
He won't have a body until after the holidays though.

I have had Alex for a little over a year now so I'm thinking it is time to take him apart and clean him. When I order the head I'm going to buy elastic and some s hooks too. I lost one of his hooks when I polished Alex's nails...
And there is this really nice brown wig that will go with the new doll. I figure he needs a wig to make up for the whole no body thing.

I'm going to be placing that order next week. ^_^ Whee.

And hopefully my A&D will be here in the next couple of weeks. I'm really hoping that DOD will ship him before Halloween.

I have been meaning to update for 2 weeks now. X_X

2 weeks ago I ordered A&D ver. 2. He is going to be my last doll for a looong time (I hope. I already found another one I want. X_X Damn you dream of doll!).
I got him with the outfit and wig. And a pair of pants. I was debating if I wanted to get the pants. I couldn't pass them up though. Lol
So I still have 3 or 4 more weeks to wait for him. For some reason the wait is really killing me.

And I have no idea when Stumpy's wig is coming in. The company is away now until October 12th. X_X They are going to China to visit the company that Stumpy came from so hopefully I will get the wig soon after.

I ordered 3 doll wigs today. I'm waiting to pay for them. I was only going to get 2. One for Alex and one for Bruce, but I couldn't decide which one I liked better for Alex. So I got both. Lol And Bruce is getting a wig since his is horrible.
I'm still waiting on Stumpy's wig. I have probably about 40 more days to wait at the minimum. T_T

I haven't had time for dolls lately... But hopefully this weekend. I need a break from everything at this point.

My grandmother passed away last Wednesday afternoon. It was a shock to all of us. She wasn't sick. She was 91 years old.
My uncle was up from Florida to visit her and he went to visit her Wednesday to say good bye. He left as the aids at the nursing home were giving her lunch.
The aid went to check on her a little while later and nan was just sitting there with her elbow on the table and her chin resting on her hand.
We all believe that she was waiting for my uncle to see her. She wanted to see him so much.
Mom was on her way to visit nan when my uncle called her. If our neighbor hadn't stopped my mom to talk my mom would of walked in the room around the time nan passed away.
We had a small funeral and the national cemetery on Long Island. It is where she wanted to be buried and where her husband was buried.

So yeah, the past week has been like this:
Wednesday: nan passed away. Called off of work
Thursday: work
Friday: buy clothes and supplies for funeral and pack
Saturday: work until after 10
Sunday: wake up at 8:30 and leave for Long Island. We didn't get to the hotel until around 2.
Monday: Took off of work. cousin woke me up at 7:30 because she smelt waffles... Funeral at 1:30. Got home 6pm.
Tuesday: Work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work (even though it was supposed to be my day off)

So now I'm off until Tuesday. I am ready to just stay at home playing video games, reading, writing, and playing with my poor neglected dolls.

I brought my Pinky St.'s with me to Long Island. Mom asked me if I was going to bring a doll. I was going to bring stumpy, but his eye lashes were falling off, and I really didn't want to mess with them. I didn't want to bring anyone else because I didn't want them to get damaged. So the Pinky's it was!
My cousin wound up setting them up on the night stand. I took a picture, but it is on my camera and the camera is downstairs. And my feet hurt from work not getting to sit down for 8 hours sucks...
Maybe tomorrow or something I'll get the pictures.

I'm also thinking about ordering my next doll sooner than Christmas time. Just because I need some cheering up. I was debating between doll shopping spree or just waiting a couple more weeks and buying my doll. My friend told me to go with the doll. So the doll it is.

I don't even think I took pictures of the eyes I got for Alex a few weeks ago. Or the shoes. Although I lost the nice shoes in the living room somewhere. They will turn up. Hopefully. Lol. Leave it to me to lose the $18 shoes, but making sure the $4 pair was safe and sound in the box where they belong... I fail.


That's my nan. The date is so wrong on that picture. That was take at her 90th birthday party. My cousins fail at using their camera apparently. I swear that wasn't my camera!
My mom is the one right behind nan and to the right is my uncle. The rest of the people are family members, but I don't know who any of them are.

But yes, hopefully doll pictures or maybe a short story or something before I go back to work Tuesday.

First stupid Fed Ex... Ugh... They got me all excited. They stopped in front of the house and left a package. It was from Auto Zone for my father. X_X My doll didn't come until like 6:30 when I was at work... My boss told me that if someone dropped it off he would let me open it at work, but we were really busy and I was covered in wing sauce. So I had to wait until 9:30 to open the box. X_X

He came in a really cool little locking meal box. It has a ton of padding in there. He also came with the cat suit in the picture, a pink robe, a little smock thing. I ah... Think there is sandpaper, an extra "s" hook, and string and a pair of DIY eyes.
Mint on Card also sent me a box of Megahouse. I have no idea what the stuff is supposed to be though. Lol. There is a carrot looking thing, a basket, and some wooden looking things in a bag. Whut?

Anyway... Back to the doll. I have no idea how to use the DIY eyes. They are sticky on the outside so I'm thinking that I just print out an eye and stick it to the back, but I don't know. I was also thinking paint.
And his eye lashes came in a bag. I have to put them on myself. X_X I have never had to do eye lashes before. My Si came with an eye lash half out, but that was easy to fix.
I didn't feel like dealing with eyelashes after work.

I also can't get him to sit up on his own. His head seems to be too heavy and he just flops backwards. Lol

I'll try and get pictures of him on Friday or sometime over the weekend. I'm hoping my DOC's wig will fit him. I think my DOT's is going to be way big on him.
I was going to do his eyelashes tonight, but I'm tired, my head hurts, and I just want to watch Ghost Hunters.

Also, he needs a bit of a cleaning. The back of his head has black smudges on it. Probably from when the company did his make up.

Oh, I got a hamster today! My father didn't want me to get one, but I spent a lot of money on new supplies and he told my mother the other day he doesn't want me to get a new hamster.
We are probably moving to SC next year and he doesn't want a hamster in the living room. So I guess I'll put her in my room once we move.
So far my father hasn't even noticed her.

And it isn't going to be my DOI. The mother and I had a talk and she said I can order him later in the year. I'm shooting for Christmas time in hopes of DOD giving a free head again. ^_^

And I shall not say what BJD he is. ^_^ He isn't aloud on DOA though... Poo. And I know nothing about these dolls. I can't find any info anywhere.
He should be here next week. He's going to get shipped on Monday. But the store I ordered him from didn't have his wig in stock, but they are ordering it for me. They aren't placing the order with the company until the 23rd. And the order is for a bunch of doll pre-orders. So poo...
I have no idea what size wig he takes, but I'm hoping he'll fit into a wig I already have.

And he is coming wit DIY eyes. I have no idea how to acutally do that. Lol

But yeah, this doll is cute yet kind of creepy. Everyone just has to wait for me to post pictures.

I have no idea what to name him. I want to call him Stumpy though. That is so mean though. Lol

I also got Alex's eyes on Friday. I didn't put them in until today. They are better than the last eyes.
It's hard to put in doll eyes when you are down a finger. I got burnt really good at work. Long story short cook was a jerk and let himself get dehydrated. It was like 120 degrees in the kitchen at work. He passed out. Owner didn't care. So I wound up cleaning up and I burnt my middle finger on the grill. Half an hour after I burnt my finger I had a huge blister. There were tears. Tuesday I woke up and the blister was so big I couldn't bend my finger so I had to stick a needle in the blister to get some of the fluid out. Bleh... It wasn't hurting at least...
Then last night at work I accidentally hit it off the counter and the blister ripped open. So now my finger hurts again. I have to make sure I don't rip the flap of skin off. Bleh...

But look for doll pictures hopefully by the weekend. I'm not sure how many days it is going to take to get my doll. He's coming FedEx ground I think. He's coming from the states though so I'm hoping he'll show up later in the week! Whee!

I have to stop buying dolls that don't fit in with my story ideas...

Yeah... Saturday I was trying to take pictures for Taeyang Quarterly and nothing was working out. I couldn't get Bruce or Brant to stand and when I did a strong gust of wind would come and knock them over.

Then I was trying for a different shot, but all the pictures came out crappy. Brant fell over and I went to stand him back up again and his arm fell off. I couldn't get it back on so my shoot was aborted.

After fighting with him forever I got his arm back on, but the arm is cracked and he's going to need a new body eventually. So hopefully I can find someone selling a Lead body...

But yeah, my picture came out horrible for Taeyang Quarterly. So not making it to the next round. Eh, it doesn't bother me too much.

Monday I brought both BJD's to work. My one co-worker said she couldn't understand how people knew if they were male or female. I pointed out that females you know, have boobs and male dolls have pen0rs. She didn't believe me and freaked out when she saw that Alex does in fact have man bits. Lol
And then my bosses kids came in. We were busy at the time and I had work to do, but I had to guard Alex and Sullivan. Those two brats would touch them and do who knows what with them. Eventually I just hid them under a shelf. They didn't even notice them.

After work my one co-worker gave me a ride home. I noticed that Alex was missing a shoe. It was only one of those croc keychain shoes and they were like $1 each, but I was still sad. That was the only time he wore them. Luckily my co-worker found it in her car. I was thinking it was lost in the parking lot at work or somewhere in my yard. I was happy when I got a phone call saying they found my shoe. Lol
Alex also lost his wig as I was walking to the car, but I saw that fall off.
I think my dolls hate me. When ever I touch them something goes wrong. X_X

I'm not touching anyone for the rest of the week!

I also ordered 2 pairs of shoes for Alex this week. They better fit!
And while I was ordering shoes I also ordered a Pinky St. I dunno why. It was there and it was cute. Lol

Also, does anyone on my friends list collect Rement? I've been wanting to buy some, but I never know where the best place to order it is.
I bought a box off of an Ebay store once, and it took forever for it to get to me. They said they had it in stock and then they told me it would be like a week before they got it back in stock. It was nearly 2 weeks before they sent it off and it was the complete set, but with a different sets boxes. I was kind of sad.
So yeah, I want rement! Tell me where to get it! Rawr!

I entered Bruce in the Taeyang photo contest. And the first theme has been announce. And I have nothing! I have no ideas at all! Gah!

I'm like at a stand still with dolls. I don't have any ideas for pictures at all.

I do know what doll I want to get next. I want a DOI A&D ver. 2. He's 70cm though! And expensive! Although he'll cost about as much as I paid for Alex and all the other stuff I ordered for him. Lol

He fits my one character perfectly! He just needs red eyes and an longer wig.
I just have to convince my mother to let me get another doll. I promised I wouldn't get anymore.

And I can't work on her now. I'm trying to save my money. We live in Pennsylvania and right now they can't balance the budget. My mom works for the state. Which means that she isn't getting paid until they pass the budget. No state workers are receiving any money at all. They still have to work which means they can't file for unemployment. She'll get all her money once they work out the budget. And that is going nowhere fast. Some lawmakers want to raise taxes, but others said no. So they said they have to take money from the schools. But they said no.
My parents have some money saved up, but if it lasts too long we are going to be in trouble.
The state gave all it's employees letters that they can give to companies and stuff to explain what is going on, but yeah, most companies aren't cool about it. They want their money and they want it now!
My mothers co-worker gave birth a few months ago to a premature baby. He was about 1 pounds when he was born. He was finally released from the hospital and the co-worker gets a call from her insurance saying she owes them money and she has to pay right away (yeah, it's insurance she gets for working for the state). She asked them if they were aware of the fact that she wasn't getting paid. They said they were. She told them she doesn't even have $24 to her name.
And the electric company isn't being very nice either. Another one of my mom's co-workers explained what was going on and how she could pay as soon as she started getting a paycheck. They told her she had to pay up now or they were turning off her electricity.

So yeah, we are better off than some, but it still sucks. I was supposed to go away for a few days for vacation, but we didn't want to waste the money on a hotel so my vacation was a bust.

There is no telling when they will resolve the budget. Could be next week could be October.

So I'm totally trying to not spend too much of my money. Just in case my parents need to borrow some. It's not like I have much though. Lol

I really have to play with my camera one of these days when I have good lighting. I have never really played with the manual settings. I don't know what half of the options are. Dolls would be a good way to practice though, right?

Also, my hamster Loony died early Wednesday morning. She wasn't doing good for the past nearly 2 weeks. I gave her water (she was having lots of problems eating and drinking so I was offering her food and water with a spoon) around 12:30 am and when I went to check on her around 2 am she was dead. She even ate and drank for me. I was really upset, but I know she is better off.



Last night I was getting veggies for my guinea pig and I had to stop myself from getting a blueberry for Loony.

Oh, and something totally crazy... My last hamster, Bean, also died on July 15th. So I had 2 hamsters die on the same day just 2 years apart. How odd is that?

So, today was a huge car show at Carlisle Pa (http://www.carsatcarlisle.com).
Usually the Fiero's are at the Import and kit car show, but this year the club decided to go to the GM Nationals. They are a GM car after all. I wanted to see Deloreans and those cute cars that look like they are smiling. T_T
Anyway, I got about 2 hours sleep. I had to be up at 5:30. We left at 6. Yeah, 5:30 am! *dies* The only way I got through the day was mango flavored energy drink. Yummy. Somehow it wound up leaking in my purse though... I got my cell phone, my camera, and my fathers GPS kind of wet. Everything smelt good though.

At least the weather was nice. We have been having crappy rainy weather for what seems like months. Today was one of the nicest days we've had in ages. So it was nice to get out for a bit.

The Fiero club did some trophies, but this year Carlisle was doing the voting. So we don't know if we won anything. They are announcing the winners tomorrow at 9. The father is still debating if he wants to go back down there. It's like an hour and a half drive. He doesn't think he'll win. But if he does win and he's there they are going to apparently let people drive the winning cars through the grandstand.
If he isn't there and he wins they are going to announce it on their site and they are going to call because he's going to have to pay $10 to get his trophy sent to him. Which is also lame... Lol

Also, I heard 2 people call the Fiero's Ferrari's. Dudes, Ferrari's are not made by GM. Fiero's don't really look like Ferrari's... I guess they are both sports cars that start with "F" so that must totally be a Ferrari!

I did a search on Google and this is the closet Ferrari that could almost look like a Fiero:

But still, it isn't that close. The front is similar, but that is about it.

My video is halfway done uploading. I'll edit my entry when it is done. Ugh... Rawr! Photobucket went from 50% uploaded to done and well, no video... So yeah... Video whenever...

And I'm sorry that I didn't post the doll pic fic that I promised awhile ago... I've just been horribly lazy. If I remember I'll try and do it tomorrow... I fail at life.

Man, I've been taking tons of pictures and little stories with Alex and Sullivan, but I never post them here. I'm so lazy...

And I seriously haven't touched my Pullip/Taeyangs in ages. Well, I had them out for an Easter story (nearly a month after Easter... Lame). I never posted it though. I really have to get back into taking pictures of them.
I don't have any ideas. I need a nice photo space. Maybe if my room wasn't such a disaster... I really have to work on that.

Sullivan still hasn't said a word to poor Alex. Which I guess is okay. Alex doesn't need anyone to talk to. He's content talking to himself.
And Alex does bad when people cry. He's usually the one crying so he has no idea how to react.
His fatherly instincts are coming out though. Before he turned into a vampire he had quiet a few younger siblings. It's been awhile since he's been around younger people. He just has to get back into the swing of things.

He is hoping Sullivan will say something soon though...
